Our Story

The Farmhouse is rooted in four generations of Montana farming, family values, and a deep belief in the power of gathering. The Elliott family has been working the land in Fort Benton for decades, and that same commitment to community, hard work, and hospitality flows through everything we do. We're a family of Montana State University graduates who understand the importance of creating spaces where memories are made — and that's exactly what we've built here. With six grandchildren running around, we know firsthand how precious time with loved ones really is, and how exhausting it can be to host celebrations in your own home.

So we created The Farmhouse — a beautiful escape where families and friends can gather to celebrate without the chaos and cleanup that comes with hosting at home. Whether you're saying "I do," marking a milestone birthday, bringing your team together for a retreat, or seeking a quiet mountain escape with your favorite people, this is a space designed to feel like family. We want you to walk through our doors and feel like you're coming home — to a place where you can be yourself, celebrate freely, and create moments that matter. The Farmhouse isn't just a venue or a rental; it's an extension of the Elliott family's hospitality and our mission to bring people together.
