Can I book both the event venue and vacation rental?

Absolutely! We love when clients book both the event venue and vacation rental together. It creates a seamless experience for you and your guests. Plus, we offer a special bundled discount when you reserve both spaces. It's a wonderful way to extend the celebration and give out-of-town guests the ultimate Montana experience. Please proceed with booking your event and you will see an add-on option to book a night in our Vacation Rental. Once you’re booked, we will reach out with more information!

If I only book one gathering spot, will there be someone else in the other?

Nope! When you book The Farmhouse, the entire property is yours — complete privacy, no shared spaces, just you and your crew.

What do I have to clean?

Leave it as you found it — that's the main rule! We provide cleaning supplies on-site, so you can easily toss the trash, wipe down surfaces, and give the floors a sweep. Takes most people 30-45 minutes. Or, if you'd rather skip the cleanup, we can handle it for you for a small additional fee (starts at $150). Your choice!

How is payment handled?

We require payment in full to secure your booking for both the event venue and vacation rental. We currently accept Venmo, cash or check. Please see below for questions about our refund policy.

What is the refund policy?

Your payment is 100% refundable if you cancel more than 31 days before your scheduled event or stay. If you need to cancel with less than 30 days’ notice, you will receive a 50% refund. If you need to reschedule your date, there is no charge with more than 30 days’ notice, but there is a $75 charge if you are within 30 days of your event or stay. All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be made in writing.

Event Venue

  • We suggest keeping events at 25-100 guests. The Farmhouse was designed for intimate gatherings where connection matters; think birthday celebrations, work retreats, baby showers, bridal parties, and family reunions. This guest range lets us deliver the Montana hospitality and personal touch we're known for. Contact us to discuss your specific event!

  • This largely depends on your booking option. You will pin down specific times in the booking process. The only consistent across the board is that you need to have everything wrapped up and out of the space no later than 10:00PM.

  • Yes, event insurance is required. It protects you and us, ensuring a worry-free celebration for everyone. We can recommend trusted providers if you need help finding the right fit for your event.

  • Absolutely! Make the space your own and celebrate your way. We just ask that you keep it temporary — no permanent changes, please. Skip the double-sided tape and definitely leave the glitter at home (seriously we mean it). Regular tape, string, and removable decorations work perfectly!

  • Depending on your rental package, you may have kitchen access on the second floor. We love food trucks — our venue is perfect for them! We also have outlets inside and outside for caterers to set up. Bring your food vision, and we'll make it work.

  • Yes, you're welcome to bring your own alcohol! Just keep in mind that you're responsible for your guests and their safety. The Farmhouse is not liable for anything that happens due to excessive drinking. We also recommend looking into a ServSafe bartender — they're not required, but they're a great option if you want professional service and peace of mind.

Vacation Rental

  • Check-in at 3:00PM and check-out at 11:00AM.

  • Yes! We have a 2 night stay minimum UNLESS you are booking in conjunction with the event space. That is the only circumstance in which we will allow a one night vacation rental.

  • No, sorry! We love your pets, but you’ll have to leave them at home. This helps us keep the space clean and ready for the next guests.

  • We always ask that you leave it like you found it! Strip the bedding, throw all used towels in a pile, sweep, wipe all surfaces, and please take out the trash.

  • WiFi, washer/dryer, private entrance, AC in bedrooms, basic toiletries, basic kitchen applicances, two outdoor seating areas, puzzle table
